Tip Calculator

Calculate tip amount and total bill quickly.

How to Do It Manually

Multiply the bill amount by the tip percentage (as a decimal) to get the tip. Add to the original bill for the total.

Tip = Bill × (Tip% ÷ 100) | Total = Bill + Tip
  1. Divide the tip percentage by 100 (e.g. 20% → 0.20).
  2. Multiply the bill amount by that decimal.
  3. Add the tip to the original bill for the total.
  4. Divide the total by the number of people to split.
