How to Do It Manually
To count days between two dates manually, convert both dates to a day count from a fixed point (like January 1), then subtract. Alternatively, count month by month.
Days Between = End Date − Start Date (in total days from epoch)
- Convert each date to a Julian Day Number or simply count calendar days.
- Subtract the earlier date's day count from the later date's day count.
- The result is the number of calendar days between them.
