How to Do It Manually
Count the calendar days between the two dates, then subtract Saturdays and Sundays that fall within that range. Optionally subtract public holidays.
Business Days = Total Calendar Days − Weekend Days − Holidays
- Find the total number of calendar days between the start and end dates.
- Count how many Saturdays and Sundays fall within the range.
- Subtract weekends (and any holidays) from the total.
