Body Fat Calculator
Estimate body fat percentage from measurements.
How to Do It Manually
Body fat percentage is estimated using measurements of waist, hip, and neck circumference (or arm/thigh). These formulas provide estimates; DEXA or hydrostatic weighing are more accurate.
For men: Body Fat % = 86.010 × log10(abdomen − neck) − 70.041 × log10(height) + 36.76
- Measure waist circumference at the widest point.
- Measure neck circumference just below the larynx.
- For women, also measure hip circumference at the widest point.
- Apply the formula specific to your sex.
